Arrival

After picking you up at the airport, we will take you to the office for the check-in. Then, we will transfer you to the eco-lodge.A delicious fresh tropical fruit drink will await you at your arrival before going for lunch.

Botanical Garden

Your first activity will be to visit the botanical garden. There, our guide will introduce you to the richness of the medicinal plants and explain how the indigenous people used them to cure themselves.

Aguajal trail - Canopy walk

In the afternoon, we will continue our activity internándonos in the immense aguajal where we will be surrounded by a vast vegetation of palm trees, habitat for many animals. Following our path we will reach the canopy, supported by two trees of the mother jungle. At this point, we will climb the platform for the observation of birds, monkeys, and other species; You can also enjoy the twilight. A comforting dinner awaits us at the lodge.

After the restful night at sunrise you will hear the singing of birds and some mammals.

WALKING WITH THE GIANTS

After finishing our generous breakfast, we will head to the nearby rainforest and walk by the giant trees such as the Brazilian nut tree or the lupuna, a mytical tree for the indigenous people. Surrounded by the rainforest, you can at times also see parrots, sloths, toucans, monkeys and strange-looking insects. To wash off the heat of the morning, you can head to the  swimming pool and enjoy a relaxing time in the fresh water coming right from our spring. For lunch, you will be served a tasty dish of the local cuisine.

SANTA TERESA LAKE

After a comforting break, we will continue our program with the visit of a lovely lake in the community of Santa Teresa, a private protected area. This place is unique for bird watching. Macaws, green parrots, blue-headed parrots, parakeets and many more can be seen there. They usually build their nests at the top of the dead palm trees growing everywhere around the lake. The lake also offers the possibility to do sports fishing for piranhas.
